Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil! –  This oven roasted shrimp boil is easy enough for weeknight and super fun for company!   Rather than boiling and loosing so much flavor, the shrimp, corn and sausage are roasted for a deeper flavor!

Serve this baked shrimp boil with a baguette and plenty of wine and you have yourself a most memorable party!

Ingredients to make Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil –

  • 1 pound raw large shrimp – we like the peels and tails on (cleaned and devined) but shelled is fine too.
  • 1 pound red or yellow potatoes
  • 6 small fresh ears of corn
  • 1 pounda andouille sausage – or sub with your favorite variety
  • seafood seasoning – like Old Bay
  • butter – and lots of it!

We make this all on one sheet pan!

To start, we toss the potatoes in a mixture of butter and seafood seasoning.  Roast for 20 minutes then add the rest of the ingredients.  The potatoes need a little head start and roasting in the oven gives them so much flavor!

After roasting the potatoes for 20 minutes   Toss the shrimp and sausage  in the remaining butter and seasoning and toss with potatoes.   Place corn around the edges of the pan.

Then back in the oven it goes.  Give a toss after 10 minutes. A quick toss and another 10 minutes.

NOTE:  If including crab place that on top during the last 10 minutes to warm it up a bit.

We like to serve this with a toasted baguette and lots of butter on the side for dipping!

What kind of shrimp to use for Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil –

    • A good large shrimp – 31-40 size works well for this dish
    • Thaw if frozen
    • Use shell on or off, either works.  We like to peel and eat them so shell on is what we used.
